A powerful visual display of children's shoes in Parliament Square calling for better support for bereaved parents.

On 3rd July 2026, hundreds of parents came together to place their children's shoes in Parliament Square.

Each pair represented a child gone too soon and a family forever changed.

Bereaved parents across the UK continue to face grief, trauma and isolation with little statutory support available. Through our campaigns and listenting to thousands of families they have shared their experiences and highlighted the urgent need for change.

This peaceful, family-friendly event brought together bereaved parents, supporters, charities, MPs and members of the public to ensure these experiences are seen and heard.
